Welcome – 28 May 2017

There are many who say, “Who will show us some good? Lift up the light of your face upon us, O Lord!” (But) You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound. In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. (Psalm 4: 6-8)

We can progress through life as critics, proclaiming what attains to, or falls beneath, our human desires and standards, or we can rest in the certainty that, whatever happens, we are in good hands: and humbly progress as pilgrims on the way to Glory. Contrition for our faults and celebration of God’s grace are cheerful approaches for each day, each moment.

Come, let us love each other His way, and give thanks together.
