The Holy Spirit revealed to Simeon that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. On seeing the baby Jesus in the temple he exclaimed “your servant may now depart in peace”.

Has the Holy Spirit revealed to you that the baby is Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour? Of all the gifts we receive in our lives, the greatest is the free gift of God – eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
