Traditionally this is the day on which the Church celebrates Jesus' final entry to Jerusalem before his crucifixion. As you prepare yourself for the Easter week, remember that Christ has come the first time, humble and for sin. He could've stormed the gates and crushed the world, but He crushed himself for our sake.
