Lo, I am with you always … Matthew 28:20
This promise of Jesus brings great comfort to His people, especially to those who are burdened by trials and testing.
His presence is a firm foundation for faith and a great basis for hope.
Jesus promised to “ Never leave us or forsake us.” Whatever our circumstances,
His “always” and “never” eliminates exceptions, and scatters all doubt.
Another promise is that the Father and the Son will make their home with us as permanent and intimate Guests. (John 14:23)
We, who apart from grace would be nobodies, now become personal friends of God and joint-heirs with Christ.
So today we may travel with great confidence in His company, looking forward to being with Him in glory with exceeding joy.
