16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. (Jam 5:16)
Great Power in Prayer – that is an incredible offer!
So, what are you doing with that power?
In this verse we're told that the power works as we pray for one another – for one another's sufferings (13), sicknesses (14) and sins (16). We are entrusted with containers of God's grace, ready to be poured over our brothers and sisters, through the channel of prayer.
Thank God for the Church – the loving and greatly powerful Family.
