Saying Goodbye, Trusting God

In the past three weeks we’ve had three (non-covid19) deaths in our church family and news of others in the community. As the national threat evolves, we are bracing for more deaths, for disruption of health and other services and for community desperation: now is the time to search our hearts and make peace wherever we can, both with our neighbours and with God. His call is clear: love one another, don’t fear, go into all the nations and make disciples.

So support for missionaries and Christian relief agencies should strengthen, not flag! Day by day, we can plod on in confidence that God is in charge, encouraging one another.

In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
