The deepening weather is somewhat appropriate to the storms we're living through at this time. They say the worst of the infection rate and economic impact is yet to come. That can sway us greatly, just like the violent winds this week stripped trees and scattered debris. But my brothers and sisters, let's remember the greater 'mighty rushing wind' who was poured out – the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. (Eph 1:13-14)
