Psalm 139:7-8 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!

There is little more comforting to a believer than that he cannot get away from God. You might be removed from any place and any person, and even from life itself, but never from God. Not only because He is Spirit and everywhere every moment, but because he pursues us with love. Whether in one moment you feel like it, or want it, He will not let you go from His Spirit.

Stop running and turn to see His Face of affectionate pursuit.
