Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ.  We have all suffered and are suffering from the effects of Covid for over a year now.  We must not forget God in our suffering!  He is the Father of mercies – He will comfort us in our afflictions.  We should count our afflictions as a blessing because we can use our experiences and comfort others.  In doing so, we can be a blessing to a brother or sister, or even have the opportunity in sharing the love of Christ with the lost.
