Psalm 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

It has been striking me how central the "Word of God" is in Scripture. No sooner do the authors of Scripture refer to faith, strength, prosperity, rescue, wisdom, salvation, than they cry out with urgency to stand on God's word. Having and feeding from God's Word is more than important. It is vital. And to move away from it is fatal.
The Psalmist is true, when we says "In God I will praise his word"!
Do we appreciate and savour the privelege of having God's divine revelation of Himself? It's no wonder that John titles the Son of God, "The Word who is God"
