Paul writes to Timothy who is naturally timid and needs exhortation to boldness and faithfulness. Many people can relate to Timothy and especially during this time of Covid-19

when our faith in the Lord is tested. Paul reminds Timothy of the faith his mother and grandmother had and should also dwell in him.

We need to remember these words of what God has given us.

2 Timothy 1:6-7: For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,

for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Let us look forward with hope to a time when we can all meet together in the church in safety and security.

Free from this pandemic and all authorities carrying out the will of God.
