Welcome – 12 November 2017

“Back in May 1962, as I entered the Mission tent in Harare, intent on murder, these two white ladies in their Durban kitchen had been praying. In answer to their specific prayers, the Holy Spirit had moved, opening my eyes to the reality of Jesus’ love.

“Now the congregation had two crying old ladies and a crying preacher – standing there in the aisle of the church, hanging onto each other. Things were not going according to your usual Methodist church service!” (Stephen LunguOut of the Black Shadows).

“If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven”Jesus, Matthew 18:19

Why should we go on in our own strength, as if that is sufficient or even good?
