When last did you read of the early days of Christianity? The book of Acts is an exciting account of rapidly spreading good news of Jesus, to the farthest reaches of the world. It makes sense that the apostles, having personally seen the risen Jesus and his ascension into Heaven, would be "on fire" – urgently recounting the Gospel to their towns and beyond.
But it makes just as much sense for us. The time that has passed doesn't make Jesus less risen, or the gospel irrelevant. Let's re-immerse ourselves into that fresh reality!
