It applies to us: the covid19 pandemic is a minor battle in the greater War in the heavenlies.

Our Commander is rallying us to attack the Enemy under His direction and provision: “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ” (2 Cor 10:4,5).

Holy Spirit righteousness, love and courage, working in Scripture for each of us, is daily victory, applauded by Christ. The struggle ahead may be very severe, but those weapons cripple the dark personality seeking to enrol or destroy us.

Therefore let us stand firm together in the evil day, bonded to Him and each other in love.
