Matthew 6:6: But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

This message is not a welcome to the church but an encouragement to read God’s Word and pray for the church. We have time like never before and perhaps never to be repeated. Let us as Christians use this time to draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8).

I am sure we all miss the fellowship of meeting together but thanks to modern technology we hear the sermon and songs of praise on Sunday and can communicate on cell phones and computers.

Let us remember our Sovereign God who is always in control, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.

We are to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
